Hi All, Just a quick update on our efforts to register folks to vote. We held one event at Furman University. We have another scheduled for Oct. 11 at Greenville Tech. I have requests in to Publix and Bi-Lo on South Pleasantburg for October 21 from 10 am – 1 pm. I have volunteers set up for the 11th. If we are approved for the 21st, I will need volunteers. I checked with Euphoria to see if we could set up a table during the City event but wasn’t able to do so.
Four volunteers attended the Mock Registration this week. The consensus was that it was extremely beneficial. Lots of laughter and lots of mistakes. We all learned a lot and are excited about future drives. The form appears simple until you actually begin to fill it out and then all kinds of questions arise. So I urge any of you who would like to help us, sign up for a Mock Registration. I will be happy to have one at your convenience. Get back to me if you would like to participate.
Also, any suggestions for locations of future events will be greatly appreciated.
